This T-shirt is inspired by the sacrificial love of Jesus and the call to imitate that same love in our lives. While this theme runs throughout the Bible, the design was particularly influenced by the teachings in 1 John:

"We love because he first loved us." — 1 John 4:19

"Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love." — 1 John 4:8

"By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers." — 1 John 3:16
